Our Services
Our shrine performs Matsuri (seasonal festivals to celebrate the Kami), daily Narito (morning and evening prayers), and makes Omamori (blessing, good luck, and protection amulets) and Ofuda (a wooden or paper talisman of protection for your home).
Formal Shinto ceremonies available from the shrine's Shinto Priest include prayers and purifications, hand-fastings, weddings, birth and naming rituals, funerals, and other rites of passage.
Premarital and couples counseling with a focus on Shinto and Neo-Shinto beliefs is also available.
All our services are available to the community through the Sacred Paths Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
If you would like to reserve time to meet with our priest to talk about these services, or just to discuss Shinto, please book an appointment - use the "Wedding / Handfasting" ministerial item.
The Sacred Cedar Shrine is a family shrine with limited membership and is not open to the public without prior arrangement.
If you would like more information, or would like prayers said for you or a loved one, please email us.
